- THE ESSENTIALS: Standard Go Bags for 2 people simply don’t have what it takes to survive for 72 hours. These bags are sloppy, come with a cheap first aid kit, minimal supplies, and low-quality survival gear. The Responder takes preparedness to the next level. Custom engineered from durable tarpaulin material, this emergency kit delivers on all of the essentials: the right amount of water, food, and survival gear to weather Natural Disasters.
- PACKS A PUNCH: This bag isn’t light at 27 pounds for good reason-it’s designed to withstand whatever nature throws at you. That’s because it contains the right amount of food, water and gear for two people for three days. It's better to carry more on day one, so you can survive until day three. The Responder is designed with ergonomic handles and straps to ensure weight is evenly distributed so you can carry it comfortably and concentrate on what matters most, surviving those critical 72hrs.
- ABOVE AND BEYOND: The Responder is the only 72-hour emergency kit that provides you with a dedicated compartment for your laptop and personal documentation, plus a front-zipper-pouch for quick access to personal items. It is important to plan ahead; that’s why the Responder also comes with an emergency guide for your family to complete and have on hand.
Details: The problem with other survival kits for families: There are a number of go bags on the marker today that sell themselves as Survival Backpacks. The problem with all of these 72 hour kits are that putting a backpack and some survival gear together doesn't make it an emergency bag that will ensure your family is prepared for a natural disaster. What we found was all of the 72 hour kits are cheap, cumbersome to use and adds to the confusion in a emergency. The backpacks are generic, can't withstand harsh conditions and tear apart easily. Cheap insufficient gear is stuffed inside the bug out bag survival kit with you having to struggle to find the disaster preparedness suppliesyou need in an emergency. How did we respond to the need for a Disaster Preparedness Kit that will ensure you are prepared? We studied what the most essentials are during an emergency and were able to defined it as "having a robust organized system that allows you to access essential gear quick and easy when every second counts" and developed a survival backpack with these principles as our basis. The Result: We call it The Responder due to its ability to respond to any situation you can find yourself in during a natural disaster. We engineered a backpack with one purpose in mind, Survival. The Responder is revolutionizing preparedness with its internal organization system that is broken down into 5 categories: -First Aid -Food -Water -Personal -Survival Gear We developed a system that ensures you are able to access any of the 5 main categories with ease. The Water, Food and Personal Pouches are connected to the backpack with a Velcro system for an easy release and reattach. The pouches are divided into two section, to ensure each person has the correct ratio of items. The survival gear is stored in a elastic grid system that holds all the gear in place. The survival bag also provides a first aid pocket that allows for easy access to the first aid kit and any other essentials you would need
